Suspected members of dreaded sect, Boko Haram, on Tuesday continued their campaign of violence, razing a police station and other facilities in Borno State.
The Chibok Divisional Police Station, a Bible School, a primary school and a telecoms mast were torched by the Boko Haram members late on Tuesday.
The campaign of terror was carried out at about 6:35pm on Tuesday.
By Wednesday morning, the members of the dreaded sect shot dead an associate of former Governor Ali Modu Sheriff of Borno State, Mustapha Flawama.
Flawama, 62, was shot dead in Maiduguri at his Polo Ward residence at about 10:15am.
He was said to have been killed alongside two other friends.
