The Benue State Governor, Chief Gabriel Suswam, has alleged that members of the dreaded sect, Boko Haram, have concluded plans to attack him.
Suswam, who made the allegation at the NKST Church in Makurdi, Benue State, on Monday, thus called on Christians in the country and Nigerians in general to pray fervently for him and his family.
He said it was a pity that only four Christians from the North were elected governors.
He said with the death of the Kaduna State Governor, Patrick Yakowa, and indisposition of the Governor of Taraba State, Danbaba Suntai, only two Christians remain as governor in the 19 states of the North.
Suswam said: “Going by security reports available to me, I may be attacked any day, anywhere, anytime and this is the reason I called on you Christians to pray for me and my family.”
