Dreaded sect, Boko Haram, has said it is prepared for dialogue with the Federal Government.
It, however, said this will be predicated on the Federal Government arresting and prosecuting a former Governor of Borno State, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, and dialoguing with a team it specially named for the purpose in Saudi Arabia and not Nigeria.
According to a news item monitored in African Independent Television, Boko Haram named a former Head of State, Alhaji Muhammadu Buhari, as the preferred head of its negotiating team.
Also included in the team are Dr. Shettima Ali Monguno; a former Governor of Yobe State, Alhaji Bukar Abba Ibrahim; Ambassador Gaji Galtimari; Barrister Aisha Alkali Wakil; and her husband, Barrister Alkali Wakil.
Boko Haram said the dialogue must take place in Saudi Arabia.
