Four persons were on Saturday shot dead by men suspected to belong to dreaded sect, Boko Haram, in Yobe State.
The men were shot dead at a drinking joint in Geidam.
The Commissioner, Yobe State Police Command, Patrick Egbuniwe, confirmed the killing.
Egbuniwe, however, said as at press time details of the shooting and killing were still sketchy.
Egbuniwe said he was yet to be fully briefed.
He said full investigation into the incident would begin as soon as details were available.
