The Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief of New Telegraph newspapers had described its late Managing Editor (North), Mallam Suleiman Basilla, as a thoroughbred and professional journalist.
Bisalla was one of the 21 persons that died in the bomb explosion that occurred in Abuja on Wednesday.
Akinadewo said the news of the death was passed on the the management of the newspaper by the deceased’s elder brother, Mohammed Bisalla.
Bisalla was 46.
Akinadewo said further in the statement that Bisalla would be laid to rest on Thursday (today) according to Islamic rites.
He prayed that Allah will grant him Aljanah Fidau.
