Former Assistant Coach of the Super Eagles, Bitrus Bewarang, has advised Eagles’ Chief Coach, Stephen Keshi, to shun the all tricks and utterances of Malawi’s Coach, Tom Saintfiet, to distabilize the Nigerian national team that would start camping next Monday for the 2014 World Cup qualifier against Malawi holding in Calabar, Cross River State.
There had been war of words between Keshi and Siatfiet in connection with the match that will decide which nation moves to the final play-off of the World Cup qualifier.
Saintfiet had also reported Keshi to FiFa for what he allegedly termed racist comment.
Bewarang has this advice for Keshi: “I am happy that the Eagles versus Malawi match will take place eventually next weekend so that we can finally put Malawi in their rightful place.
“What I am not happy about is the Eagles Chief Coach, Stephen Keshi, trying to fall in into the mind twisting tactics the Coach of Malawi is trying to put him (Keshi) through.
“I believe that we have quality players that can put us through.
“Let Keshi just try and concentrate fully on the September 7 match in Calabar and map out strategies to win the game.
“Let him not get angry because when it gets angry he can destabilize him and make him lose focus as regards the pattern of play or the kind of tactics he wants to employ in the game.
“It is important for the team and the technical crew to fully concentrate on the task ahead.”
