Super Eagles and Valerenga of Norway defensive midfielder, Fegor Ogude, is close to sealing a deal with La Liga outfit, Real Betis, The Eagle Online has gathered.
Ogude tops the search list as Betis’ technical secretariat intensifies its search for a defensive midfielder after the club realised that the recruitment of French Digard is impossible.
Norwegian-Nigerian agent, Atta Aneke, who represents Ogude, has confirmed that The Green-and-Whites are interested in his client.
Aneke said: “There is concrete interest for Ogude.
“There has been no official bid yet from Real Betis but they have been in contact.”
The erstwhile Warri Wolves skipper represented Nigeria at the 2013 African Cup of Nations and the Fifa Confederations Cup.
