The waiting game on whether Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, would be extradited to Nigeria or not continues.
This followed the failure of security agents in Benin Republic, where he is being held, to produce him in court.
Igboho was arrested at Cardinal Bernardin International Airport in Cotonou, Benin Republic on Monday night.
He is being held by operatives of Brigade Criminelle in Cotonou, with his lawyers attempting to ensure he proceeds to Germany with his wife, Ropo, as earlier planned.
However, the Nigerian Government is seeking his extradition to Nigeria.
A court session to determine Igboho’s fate was scheduled for Wednesday but did not hold as he was not brought to court.
Several Yoruba Nation agitators had gathered at the court premises in Cotonou as reported by The Eagle Online on Wednesday.
However, Igboho was not brought to the court.
