A former Commissioner for Commerce and Industry in Abia State, Prince Emeka Okafor, has advised the Governor of Abia State, Chief T.A. Orji, to retrace his path and go back to his mentor and boss, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu.
Okafor described Kalu as a kind hearted person that never allows past challenges weigh him down.
He noted that Orji Kalu thinks positively for the general interest of the nation and Abia in particular, adding that whatever the misgivings Orji may have about his predecessor, he should resolve with him amicably.
Okafor said: “I want to say this because I have seen both sides and I know that the problems are those in the government who believed that the cheapest way they can achieve anything from the government is to create disaffection, among the two. The governor should see these people as agents of deceit who have nothing in them other than making noise for relevance without contributing to the development of Abia State.
“I am happy that Governor T. A Orji says, Orji Uzor Kalu is his friend and former boss but his problem with him was his second term ticket. I think now it is over, let’s for God’s and humanity sake, do the right thing, if I must mention name, Tinubu/Fashola, today are together and many others, Abia should not be an exception.
“I want also to advice that, His Excellency should do everything possible to recall our brothers and sisters that was sacked from the civil service in the name of non indigene. Nigerians are one and Ndigbo are known for peaceful co existence and unity for the region.”
