The countdown to the 9th edition of the popular reality TV show, Big Brother Africa, has begun. This time, Nigerians and other viewers all over the world will have to wait till September 7, when the show is expected to return to the screens.
As expected, the drama, intrigues and controversies will swim to the fore yet again. Participating countries this year are Bostwana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Namabia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Rwanda, the latest country to join the TV show. Organizers recently called for entries from persons over the age 21, who are citizens of any of the participating countries, saying auditioning dates would be announced at a later date.
A couple of Nigerian’s representatives to the reality TV show emerged triumphant. Uti Nwachukwu, Kevin Chuwang Pam and Karen Igho emerged winners in previous editions of the show.
At last edition of the show, Nigeria was represented by Melvin Oduah and Beverly Osu while Namibia’s Dillish Matthew won the 2013 edition of the show.
