Bayern Munich continue to lock up the key players to their recent run of success as the treble winners on Wednesday agreed to a three-year extension with German international defender, Jerome Boateng, until June 30, 2018.
“Jerome has had a great development with us and is one of the important players for FC Bayern,” said club Chairman, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
The club boss added: “For this reason, it was logical for us to look at a contract extension.
“And we achieved that today.
“We are all satisfied.”
Munich recently extended their deal with David Alaba until 2018, as well.
