The Chairman of Bi-Courtney Highway Service Limited, Dr. Wale Babalakin, has been granted bail by a Lagos State High Court on self recognition.
Babalakin was arraigned on Thursday morning before Justice Adeniyi Onigbanjo by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for alleged criminal conspiracy and money laundering to the tune of N4.7 billion.
There had been a cat and mouse game between the EFCC and Babalakin over the arraignment.
While the EFCC declared him wanted for allegedly gong underground, Babalakin said the Commission was playing politics with his arraignment.
