Flying Eagles on Friday clinched the bronze medal in the African Youth Championship in Algeria.
The Nigerian side defeated their Malian counterparts by by two goals to one.
Umar Aminu, again, emerged the hero of the day as he hit another brace in the 62nd and 72nd minutes of play.
Junior Eagles of Mali fought back gallantly and got a goal back in the 88th minute.
It was a day the Flying Eagles wasted many chances, as they did in previous matches.
On Saturday, Egypt will take on Ghana in the final match.
