The South African national female football team, the Bayana Bayana, on Wednesday cut short Nigeria’s dream of lifting the 2012 African Women Championship.
The Bayana Bayana defeated hard fighting Super Falcons by a lone goal in their encounter in the competition holding in Equitorial Guinea.
The lone goal of the match was scored in the first half of the encounter.
Nigeria had it good in the competition before meeting the South Africans.
The Super Falcons won all their group matches.
