It was kicked off on Tuesday at Ndigwe Health Centre, Igbeagu Community, Izzi Local Government Area of the state.

But the state scored below average in terms of the overall health security assessment bordering on general capacity to effectively prevent, detect and respond to threats of public health significance.
The move is part of efforts to enhance accountability and promote accuracy in the discharge of official functions.
This was part of the outcome of a one-day training organised by Women’s Rights and Health Project in Ebonyi State.
They also commended the Ebonyi State Government for successfully implementing the joint health awareness programme for adolescent schoolgirls, which brought the outcome in the state.
The protest, which was massively attended on Tuesday, impeded human and vehicular movements.
The project is being executed in collaboration with the David Umahi Federal University Teaching hospital.
