Ace footballer, Rashidi Yekini, who died on Friday, was buried amid ovation in his hometown, Ira in Kwara State, on Saturday.Yekini, who was reported to have died in his Ibadan, Oyo State residence after a protracted illness, was buried at about 4pm.Reports from the burial had it that it was well attended.His remains arrived in the town at about 3pm.

On recommendation eight, Hon. Abike Dabiri, moved a motion to give a time frame to the recommendation that says the NNPC should make a refund of the amount paid in excess as subsidy within the next three months. Hon. Emedioha said the NNPC has written a letter to the speaker on the money in contention. He called on Hon. Lawan to enlighten the House on the money. Lawan said that his committee had received a lot of communication on the report. He, however, said that the NNPC deducted in excess and therefore the money should be retuned to government coffers.
The Deputy Speaker called for the assessment of the recommendations of the report clause by clause.The House agreed with the first recommendation. But Hon. Kamil Akinlabi from Oyo State raised an issue with the recommendation two, which says that government should not approve subsidy to any other marketer.
