Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar will on March 13, 2013 be the Guest Lecturer of the Political Science Department of the University of Ibadan in a series of public lectures marking the 50th anniversary of the department.
A statement from the Atiku Media Office in Abuja on Sunday said that the former Vice President will be in the nation’s premier university on Wednesday to deliver a lecture entitled: “Thoughts on Internal Party Democracy in Nigerian Political Parties: Challenges and Strategies.”
According to the statement, the lecture by the Turaki Adamawa is in response to an invitation by the Department of Political Science of the University of Ibadan.
The statement noted that the lecture will be in continuation of the former Vice President’s national dialogue initiative, wherein he has been exchanging ideas with different segments of the society.
