Former Vice President and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for the 2019 elections, Atiku Abubakar, has returned to the country from his Dubai, United Arab Emirates home.
He has been away for nine months from the country.
According to available information, Abubakar came into Nigeria on Saturday night through the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
He was said to have been received by close aides, few family members and political associates.
Sources said his son, Aliyu Abubakar, who holds the title of Turaki Adamawa, a position the former Vice President previously occupied before his being crowned as Wazirin Adamawa, the second highest title in the Fombina Emirate, will be getting married soon.
