Aston Villa are the latest Premier League club that are said to be making a bid for 18-year-old MK Dons superstar, Dele Alli.
The midfielder has been heavily linked to Newcastle United in the past week, with one national newspaper saying that a fee of £4 million had been agreed, rising to £5 million with add-ons.
The Daily Telegraph is reporting that Aston Villa are trying an 11th hour bid to snatch Alli from under the noses of Newcastle though, with £2 million and a loan back to Dons for the rest of this season given up front, before the remainder of the money is paid during the summer.
It’s no surprise that several Premier League clubs are trying to snap Alli up beforeMonday’s January transfer window deadline.
He has scored 12 goals this season already, making him the club’s top scorer this season behind the now Wolves striker Benik Afobe, and he is an England U19 international.
