The Osun state Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, has signed the state’s 2014 budget into law.
Aregbesola warned all ministries, parastatals and agencies of government, local governments and tertiary institutions in the state to comply strictly with the implementation guidelines of the budget as approved for them.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Budget and Economic Planning, Bade Adeshina, in a statement on Tuesday, said: “Inasmuch as a budget is the plan and guide for all agencies of government to deliver the dividends of democracy as well as the equal distribution of wealth for the masses, those in charge of the budget implementation should follow the approved guidelines to the letter.”
Adeshina commended Aregbesola for the promptly approving the budget after its passage by the the House of Assembly.
