Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau and Chairman, Northern Governors Forum, has described Archbishop Ignatius Kaigama, Coadjutor, Abuja Catholic Archdiocese, as an icon of peace.
Lalong said this on Thursday in his birthday message to Kaigama who turns 61 years.
According to the message signed by Solomon Gujor, Deputy Director of Press to the governor, Lalong congratulated the cleric who is also the Administrator, Catholic Archdiocese of Jos, for attaining the years.
He said: “Archbishop Kaigama had over the years shown himself as an excellent and faithful leader in his service to the Almighty God and humanity.
“He is not just a symbol of rare integrity and industry but a brilliant academician with high degree of divine emotional and social Intelligence.
“Kaigama is endowed with great ability for deepening the tenets of religious harmony between Christians and adherents of other religions in the society.”
The governor prayed God to give Kaigama an amazingly graceful life of longevity and quality health as a shepherd of God and humanity.
