He called on the people of the state to vote out the APC come 2019.

According to him: “The ruling party has planned not to embark on campaigns for the 2019 general elections because they are planning to rig the forthcoming elections through INEC and security agencies, especially where there are no service providers.
“I call on you people to be watchful in both rural and urban areas.
“Do not allow rigging to take place, resist any form of intimidation from security outfits.”
Aliyu also assured that security agencies will be better empowered with payment of allowances and salary if the PDP returned to power.
Aliyu said that the zone was known for oneness and unity in their decisions during elections and should not do differently in 2019, adding that the electorate should come out enmass to collect their Permanent Voter Cards and vote the PDP.
In his address, the PDP gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Umar Mohammed Nasko, who called for patience and rancour free campaign and elections, promised that the Bida- Minna Road dual carriageway will be fixed.
