Senators elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress were on Monday locked in a meeting with the National Chairman of the party, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, in the bid to resolve the crisis rocking the party.
The crisis surfaced as a result of a face-off over the emergence of the leadership of the National Assembly.
Among those who attended the meeting with Odigie-Oyegun were the President of the Senate, Senator Bukola Saraki; and his arch-rival for the seat, Senator Ahmad Lawan.
The meeting was held at the residence of Odigie-Oyegun in Abuja.
