Anthony Joshua’s preparation is well underway in preparation for his championship bout against Wladimir Klitschko.
The heavyweight showdown, which will take place at Wembley Stadium, promises to be a colossal dust-up on April 29.
And it seems the Brit is hitting the peak of physical condition in preparation to face the Ukrainian.
The 2012 gold medal winner shared a photo on his Instagram page after a training session, showing off a huge upper body.
It’s the preparation he will need when he comes toe to toe with the former unified champion.
Joshua and Klitschko will meet in a showdown for the IBF, IBO and WBA super heavyweight championships next month.
The Brit is undefeated after 18 professional fights but will come up against a veteran of the sport.
Klitschko represents the toughest test of the Joshua’s career, having racked up 64 wins in a 21-year professional career.
But the IBF heavyweight champions looks deep in training and fully focused on the task ahead.
Joshua beat Eric Molina in his last bout in December with an impressive third-round knockout.
Meanwhile Klitschko last stepped into the ring with Joshua’s compatriot Tyson Fury. Fury claimed the win with a unanimous decision back in 2015, meaning the Ukrainian will not have entered the ring in almost 18 months by the take he faces Joshua.
But Joshua has not been stirred by Klitschko’s experiences in the ring and recently predicted he would beat the Ukrainian in a knockout win.
