Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo has resumed work after his 2019 annual leave.
Obaseki, who arrived the Benin Airport on Wednesday, said he felt refreshed and very satisfied to resume office after the break from work.
When asked what Edo people should expect from him as he resumed duty, the governor said; “just wait and see”.
The News Agency of Nigeria recalls that the governor went on vacation on March 24 while his deputy, Phillip Shaibu, acted as governor.
NAN also reports that members of the state executive council, socio-economic groups as well as some residents of the state were at the airport to welcome the governor.
