The Primate of the Church of Nigeria, Dr. Nicholas Okoh, has confirmed Engineer Korede Akintunde as the first substantive General Manager of the Anglican Cable network Television owned by the Church of Nigeria.
The appointee has been acting in that position since 2016.
A statement signed by the ACNN Chairman Board of Management, Sir Folu Olamiti, quoted Primate Okoh as having said: “Following the record of your performance as the Acting General Manager of ACNN, you are hereby confirmed as the substantive General Manager of ACNN.”
Akintunde is one of the pioneering staff of the station before he was assigned as acting General Manager by the Primate on April 5, 2016.
Since then the station has experienced tremendous and drastic improvement.
The confirmation is effective from March 31, 2018.
