The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has further spoken about the upcoming Anambra State gubernatorial election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission has fixed November 6, 2021 for the off season governorship poll.
During the launch of the 27th edition of his annual book of prophecy, titled: “Warnings To The Nations,” the man of God made comments on the forthcoming election when asked about it.
According to Ayodele, the All Progressives Congress cannot win the election with Senator Andy Uba as the candidate of the party.
He said the best bet for the APC is George Moghalu, if at the party wants to be seen as a serious contender in the election.
He explained that Moghalu is the only person that can pull the crowd for the party and make them be seen as important contenders.
Ayodele said: “If APC wants to make bold statements in Anambra election at all, they should not go with Andy Uba.
“With him as the party’s candidate, it is total failure already.
“The only person that can give the party great recognition as a serious contender is George Moghalu.
“Apart from that, it will be a waste of time for the party to contest in the election.”
Recall that Primate Ayodele has been a voice in the political situation of Anambra State.
Some months before the primaries, the man of God advised political parties on the candidates they should choose and some of them listened to him.
The likes of Young Peoples Party that chose Ifeanyi Ubah; All Progressives Grand Alliance picked former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Prof. Charles Soludo; while the Peoples Democratic Party opted for Valentine Ozigbo as advised by Ayodele.
