The Lagos State Police Command has arrested five men for robbery and car snatching.

Anti-robbery policemen, who felt the suspected robber was carrying out a prank on them, pretending to be who he is, not, had started digging into his past activities.
Though the suspect insisted that his name is truly Sunday Olise, but the policemen thought he might be trying to soil the name of popular footballer and a former Captain of the Super Eagles, Sunday Oliseh.
The five suspects were arrested around Maroko and Ikorodu areas of Lagos State.
Items recovered from the robbers were two locally made revolver pistols, one locally made cut to size double barrel pistol, one Toyota Sienna space wagon marked GH 58 KJA and N90,500.

Police spokesperson, Ngozi Braide, confirming the arrests of the suspects, said that policemen attached to the Shagamu Road Division re-arrested one Olatunde with machete cuts from angry mob along Ijebu-Ode Road by Gabank Filling Station, Ikorodu.
Olatunde was alleged to have attempted to snatch a white coloured Mazda Bus marked EJ 917 SMK.
