Everton are reportedly working on a deal to bring Henry Onyekuru to Goodison Park earlier than planned.
The Merseyside outfit bought the 20-year-old forward from Eupen in the summer for a fee thought to be in the region of £7 million, but sent him immediately on loan to Anderlecht due to not having a permit granted.
Given that Ronald Koeman’s side have scored just four Premier League goals in seven matches, it is clear that the club are in desperate need of some firepower up front.
According to reports, the Toffees are working on a possible way of bringing Onyekuru to the club when the transfer window reopens in January.
The report claims that Everton will try to secure a work permit for the Nigerian using a “special talent” clause.
