Everton’s loaned out striker Henry Onyekuru has revealed he turned down Paris St Germain to sign for Everton.
The Nigerian international actually went as far as undergoing a medical with the French giants, but his dream of playing Premier League football saw him choose the Blues.
Frustratingly, work permit difficulties mean the 21-year-old is still waiting to make that move.
After a season on loan at Anderlecht in Belgium the forward has just joined Galatasaray on another season-long loan.
“Of course PSG are a great club, but the biggest dream since my childhood was to play in the Premier League.”
“He will be paid £37,000 a-week which is £148,000 a-month. This wage is without league and Champions League bonuses,” reports the site.
But Onyekuru is more focused on regular first team football as a route to playing more international football which will help him secure the work permit requirements to enable him to play in England.
