One of the Nigeria’s top music icon, Onyeka Onwenu, has just resumed office as the Director General of the National Centre for Women Development.
Onwenu, on her resumption, advised the entire staff to increase their sense of commitment to move the parastatal forward.
While soliciting for their support, she said the success of the centre is in the hands of each and everyone of them.
“They must ensure that the centre achieve the objectives for which it was established,” she said.
Onwenu added: “The total development of the Nigeria women is through training, research, documentation, advocacy and counseling.”
She noted that the staff will be the backbone of the organization and enjoined all of them to take their responsibility seriously and be ready to go the extra mile whenever the need arises.
