The Ogun State Government has reiterated its commitment to partner with genuine investors on rice, cashew, tomato and cassava production in order to enhance agricultural growth.
The state Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, stated this when a team of investors, led by the Group Managing Director of Odu’a Investment Company, Adebayo Jimoh, paid him a courtesy call in his office in Abeokuta.
Amosun said the state government would be ready to partner with genuine investors for the socio-economic development of the state.
He pointed out that agriculture was the mainstay of the economy of the state, adding that the government was ready to support them in areas of land and financial assistance towards making their projects realisable.
He urged the investors to take advantage of the abundance of both mineral and human resources to develop the agricultural sector in the state.
Jimoh, said they were in the state to tap the natural resources at Imeko, especially in the area of tomato production.
Jimoh hinted that Odu’a Investment was willing to establish farm and food processing companies in the state and become a stakeholder in the development agenda of the administration.
