Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu has been declared the validly elected national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party.
This followed the ratification of his appointment by delegates at the ongoing National Convention of the party.
Over two-thirds of the delegates at the National Convention voted “yes” to affirm his emergence as the head of the party.
The result of the election was announced by the Chairman of the convention’s election committee, Senator Ken Nnamani.
The convention was still in progress as at press time.
