More facts are emerging on today’s bomb attack on the Church of Christ in Nigeria, Jos, Plateau State.
The Eagle Online was told that the attack took place at exactly 7.24am.
This was when the Hausa service of the church, which is the headquarters of COCIN in Jos, was on.
It was learnt that the two suicide bombers who carried out the attack rammed their car into the part of the church building that was still under construction.
The causalty figure, though uncertain, is put at four – the two suicide bombers, who were in the uniform of the Nigerian Army, and two worshippers.
As earlier reported by The Eagle Online, the Plateau State Commissioner of Information, Abraham Yiljap, was among those wounded in the bomb attack.
Yiljap is a pastor in COCIN.
The Plateau State Governor, Chief Jonah Jang, as was also first exclusively reported by The Eagle Online, equally worships in the church.
