Popular act, David Adeleke, on Wednesday insisted his baby mama, Sophia, slept with a friend of his father, Dr. Deji Adeleke.
Sources close to Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, told The Eagle Online that the musician restated this position when he met with operatives of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons.
The meeting was at the Ikeja, Lagos State office of NAPTIP, where Davido is attending to a petition by Sophia that he was attempting to take their child, Imade, out of the country without her consent.
Davido said the details of Sophia’s relationship with his father’s friend came to light when he invited her to an outing of his family in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
He said his own family had gone ahead of Sophia on the journey.
However, when Sophia arrived, she allegedly started behaving funny, covering her eyes and staying away from the rest of the family.
He said it was later that his father’s friend made enquiries about who Sophia was with on the journey and confessed he had a relationship with her.
Sources close to Davido said though the musician told the NAPTIP operatives that he knew Sophia had other relationships apart from that, he had overlooked it all these while.
He said he truly loves Sophia and had overlooked other lies he had told him, including her age and educational qualification.

Next week, Davido’s sister, who is said to have been ill, is expected to appear before the NAPTIP operatives, also in the Lagos office.
She was fronting as the mother of Imade at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport as they made to travel with the baby before Sophia appeared to lay claim to the girl.
