Senator Ali Ndume has decried Boko Haram attacks on military formations in the fight to completely eliminate it.
Ndume made this known when he featured on the News Agency of Nigeria Forum in Abuja.
They should take the war constantly to the insurgents, not waiting for them to attack or take the war to them.
The lawmaker, who commended the military for the sacrifice to bring an end to the menace and restore normalcy, urged soldiers not to rest on their oars.
He said: “They should take the war constantly to the insurgents.
“You can imagine the audacity they have to go to military formations to attack soldiers.
“If the soldiers are the ones after them, the insurgents will never try it.
“It is like, if you are well prepared in your house I do not think someone will easily come to the house and attack you.”
Ndume said the action of the Military was encouraging and commendable but must be sustained.
