The final journey home of Yoruba actress, Bisi Komolafe, began at about 9am on Friday, with family, friends and colleagues unable to hold back their tears.
The burial proceedings started with Komolafe’s corpse exiting the University College Hospital Morgue to the St Mary Catholic Church.
The process elicited uncontrollable tears from her colleagues.
Some of the identified actors at the premises of UCH were Tayo Adeleye, Bimbo Oshin, Bolaji Amusan (Mr. Latin), Rose Odika, Akin Olaiya and Muyiwa Ademola.
Actress Bimbo Oshin could not hold her grief as she threw herself on the ground weeping uncontrollably and screaming to the pity of many others.
She was heard shouting and saying: “Bisi! Bisi! This was not our plan.”
Oshin’s mood elicited more tears from family members that included Shade Komolafe, Bisi’s elder sister; and Bisi’s hubby, Tunde Ijaduola.
Also seen in the crowd were students and workers of the UCH.
They were all filled with tears as the undertakers rolled the corpse into the ambulance.
More reports will follow.
