Dependable sources in far away South Africa have just exclusively revealed to The Eagle Online that popular gospel singer, Lanre Teriba, otherwise known as Atorishe, was never shot in South Africa.
The source further disclosed that Teriba, after performing at West End Theatre, the venue of the show in Pretoria, South Africa, was truly attacked and robbed of his valuable items such Blackberry Porch, Ipad, gold wrist watch and some money but was never shot in the leg as Teriba claimed.
Those who should know said Teriba only used the story as a media stunt just to attract attention.
And for the fact the that he has not been in the news in the recent time except for scandals here and there, made him resort to the media strategy to get sympathy, the source said.
The gospel singer, who claimed to have quickly recovered from a gunshot wound in Nelson Mandela’s country after a couple of weeks, has since returned to Nigeria and busy performing in and outside Lagos.
