Olamijuwonlo Alao-Akala, the handsome first son of ex-governor Alao Akala of Oyo State, is gone on a spending spree.
The Lead City University graduate has embarked on three multi million naira projects: a palatial private mansion at Lekki Phase 1 in Lagos State, an haulage business with heavy trailers in his kitty and the establishment of a record label which already has some notable artistes on board located in Surulere area of Lagos State.
A close source to Ola, as he is fondly called by his pals, said he has been on the projects even while his father was in office.
Ola reportedly had premonition that his father might not return to the Oyo State Government House due to the strong opposition he faced.
It would be recalled that during Alao-Akala’s tenure, Olamijuwonlo enjoyed life to the hilt.
He had the latest cars and lived like a lord.
In fact, he had his personal office inside Agodi Government House while his father held sway as the state’s helmsman.
Many who are close to Alao-Akala know Ola is his favourite among his children, being first son.
Alao-Akala’s permutation then was for Ola to contest for the House of Representatives seat on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.
A dependable source close to the 20-something-year old Ola said his father is aware of the projects he is into and “is proud of his boy.”
