President Muhammadu Buhari’s façade of buoyant optimism of winning the war against the insane recklessness of bloody insecurity is punctured by the daily servings of more tragic news of kidnappings and deadly killings by bandits in our society. How long must we wait for events to reveal itself to the world that our caliphate Fulani emperors have no clothes. The delusion that they still have clothes is the direct result of our ongoing national calamities.
The contraption called Nigeria is no more than a mosaic of nationalities on one hand, and a concentration of sub-tribes on the other hand. We co-exist uneasily side-by-side and eye one another with intense jealousy and mutual suspicion. The creation of Amotekun represents the symbol of that jealousy and suspicion. Caliphate Fulani has just reinforced that jealousy with their own Amotekun clone called, Shege Ka Fasa! We live in a heady, adversarial atmosphere where caliphate Hausa/Fulani have perfected a prebendal political formula where each state goes to Abuja to receive crumbs thrown at them. It is like a penitent Christian who goes to meet the priest to receive his monthly communion. Monkey dey work, baboon they share the banana!!!
Insecurity, clannish interest and bad governance of the present administration have all fused to give Nigerians a cause to romanticise about the regional government of the 60s which was marked by peace, prosperity and rapid development. The Northern and Southern Nigerians shared a growing contradictory vision of what Nigeria should be. President Buhari has no shame. He rode on the back of restructuring Nigeria. Today, however, restructuring Nigeria has become a political minefield he dare not cross as a torch carrier for Miyetti Allah. He has fallen from admiration to intense hatred among southern Nigerians. He epitomises the hubristic catastrophe of successive Hausa/Fulani leaders of this embattled nation.
The Yoruba, Igbo, Ijaw and other sub nationalities are held down by Hausa/Fulani happy incompetence and politics of ordination and tribal triumphalism. Caliphate Hausa/Fulani only rule to capture the resources of others. They rule to dominate. They rule to intimidate. They rule to extend the reaches of Islam from the desert heartland of Gombe to the polluted waters of Ijaw nation.
This ongoing insecurity crisis, however, has been accentuating and exerting far more strident call for the dissolution of our unity. Why? Our century-long amalgamation or unity is no longer democratically adequate to promote productivity, fairness, justice, equity and peaceful co-existence. Unity had remained the very anti-thesis to our development. Nigerians are tired of a forced marriage that has caliphate Fulani at its heart and the illegal criminality of the cabal that sustains it. Nigeria will forever remained stunted under a cabal-driven, Fulani-inspired and Islamocracy administration. Gbabe!!!
The caliphate Fulani had remained serenely untroubled since the end of our civil war. They have never been seriously challenged. Possibly, out of our own timidity. Partly due to caliphate Hausa/Fulani pseudomacho warrior image founded on myth that has coalesced over time to create awe and mass cowardice in the minds of Southerners. This time we must reject the selfish, bullying behaviour and venal values of those who believe that Allah ordained them to run Nigeria aground.
The time to strengthen the primacy of the nation state as a popular notion of global politics is now. Thank God we inhabit a global village where politics is now local!! Bangladesh split from Pakistan, South Vietnam from North Vietnam, North Korea from South Korea, Israel from Palestine, South Sudan from Sudan, Eritrea from Ethiopia and Slovakia from Czech Republic. President Muhammadu Buhari has no bold agenda to change anything other than the continued preservation of the caliphate Fulani agenda of islamisation of the entire Nigerian nation. His body language is in sync with the dark forces agitating for this wicked and treasonable agenda.
Buhari’s dream of Nigeria as one nation of political and social utopia is a pipe dream. Our continued unity cannot, and will not guarantee that sinless state of paradise. He lacks the vision and the political wisdom to leap that great wall of fear and clan interest to lend support to rational thinkers agitating for separate nations from Nigeria. Self-determination combatants who have been side-lined, shot, shutdown and rebuked are sick and tired of the tawdry pretences of our unity. Out there on the streets, there is a huge sense of disillusion compounded by the daily genocide of insecurity going on in virtually all the states of the federation. This government should know that the same old cyclical appetite for dominance, islamisation, totalitarianism will continue to inflame resentment, anger and mass resistance. One cannot restate it enough that power in Nigeria is wielded by the caliphate Fulani because of their unfettered access to all the coercive instruments of brutality and fear that has helped in ranking Nigeria as a Police state.
We have endured a more aggressive Northernisation extension of caliphate Fulani hegemony across Nigeria for decades by playing the subservient roles in our desire to support the inherent illusion of the power of one indivisible Nigeria. But the truth is that unity has spread insecurity, inequality, despair, poverty, corruption, impunity and oppression. Again, this is the time to reject a dysfunctional federal machinery that promotes multiple insecurities among its constituting nationalities.
