Habib Aruna, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State, has lost his father, Alhaji Adamson Aruna.
Pa Aruna died on Monday evening after a protracted illness at the age of 85.
Alhaji Aruna, during his prime, worked at the University College Hospital in Ibadan, Oyo State.
He put in 35 years of active service as a staff of the UCH Maintenance Department before he retired and became an astute businessman and a respected community leader.
Until his demise, he was the Omorodion of Ivbiaroland in Auchi, Edo State.
He is survived by his wives, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
According to his son, Habib, Alhaji Aruna has been buried on Tuesday (today) according to Muslim rites.
