Akinwunmi Ambode, the All Progressives Congress gubernatorial candidate for Lagos State, has been confirmed to be hosted to a Grand House reception at the prestigious Niteshift Coliseum on Sunday.
The move is coming after a week his Peoples Democratic Party’s counterpart, Jimi Agbaje, was hosted at the top notch club.
The strictly by invitation premium event will attract top politicians, captains of industry and several patrons of the celebrity club.
During the night, Ambode, the accomplished accountant and administrator, will be treated to a reception on the red carpet, mingle with the guests and later be on the hot seat where he will share his plans for the state with the distinguished members, patrons and invited guests.
The Grand House Reception is the highest honour accorded respected members of the society by the high profile hangout turned event centre.
Other distinguished eminent Nigerians who have also enjoyed the honour included President Goodluck Jonathan, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Governor Theodore Orji of Abia State, Governor Babatude Raji Fashola of Lagos State, Minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.
Ken Caleb Olumese, the Guv’nor of the club, while speaking on the event, said it will be a seven-star with all the glitz, glamour and razzmatazz associated with the club.
