Airtel’s Olu Akanmu returns to Banking world

A former Chief Marketing Officer, Airtel Nigeria, Olu Akanmu has returned to the banking sector.
He left the services of the telecoms barely one year after taking up the appointment.
Akanmu, one time Managing Director/Chief Executive, Retail and Consumer Banking at Bank PHB, is now the Divisional Head, Retail Banking of First City Monument Bank Limited.
He has over 23 years experience spanning marketing, banking, telecommunications, consulting, manufacturing, advertising, pharmaceuticals and health care sector.
