The Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, will be the Guest Speaker at the Arewa Consultative Forum Public Lecture holding in Kaduna on Tuesday.
The lecture, which is titled: Northern Nigeria Economy Free of Oil Revenues, will explore the linkages between oil revenues and development prospects of Nigeria.
Governor Ahmed will also explore the prospects of decoupling the Nigerian economy from its dependence on oil revenues given its role in much of the country’s previous and current economic and political difficulties.
Vice President Mohammed Namadi Sambo will be the Special Guest Of Honour at the event, which will be chaired by Justice Aloysius Katsina Alu, a former Chief Justice of Nigeria.
