The Super Eagles Manager, Austin Eguaveon has announced replacement for the Utility forward, Victor Osimhen and Emmanuel Dennis in the country’s team for the 2022 AFCON Championship.
While Osimhen who just tested positive for COVID-19 was replaced with the versatile Abdullahi Shehu, Dennis was substituted with Czech Republic –based forward Peter Olayinka.
Similarly, Osimhen’s absence paved the way for Greece-based Henry Onyekuru who was also at the last finals in Egypt. The new final list is published below:
