The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has recounted how a pastor of the church was arrested abroad.
Pastor Adeboye made the revelation at the monthly thanksgiving service of the church in Lagos State on Sunday December 1.
A report by Church Times said Adeboye spoke on the topic: “My father’s house.”
The Church Times said he spent a greater part of his time on the message bemoaning the moral decadence across the globe.
On the RCCG pastor that was arrested, he said: “My pastor was arrested abroad for saying ladies and gentlemen while addressing a gathering.
“He was accused of discriminating among the genders because they claimed there were some in the gathering who were neither male nor female.”

Though Adeboye did not mention the name of the country, the time the arrest took place and the name of the pastor, he said what happened was an indication of the extent of moral decadence in the world.
He also shared the story of a lady he met in the western world.
He asked the lady about her husband.
She said her husband was ill.
He asked further how he was doing.
And the woman said her husband could not talk.
The woman the told him and that her husband had been taken to the veterinary hospital, an indication that the husband was a dog.
The RCCG Overseer said there is a general moral decadence in the world, adding that preachers of the gospel are complicating matters with strange teachings.
While praying for his listeners that he would see them in eternity with God, Adeboye warned: “The devil wants to harvest you.
“But you must not give him the opportunity.
“I want to see you in my father’s house.
“Jesus said I will come back.
“If you are not on his side, you will not enter his father’s house.”
