Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Omoni Oboli as part of her civic responsibilities, organised voters at her polling unit on Saturday.
News Agency of Nigeria reports that the ‘Being Mrs Elliot’ actress took time to take note of voters at Victoria Garden City (VGC) Lagos where they waited for officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission.
She shared her experience on Twitter @omonioboli writing, “It’s 10am and I now have a table. @Inecofficials have been setting-up and are almost ready for us.
“We have over 500 names on our list.”
Some fans appreciated the actress for taking interest in making the voting process hitch free despite being a celebrity.

NAN reports that Oboli has been actively influencing her followers to participate in the elections.
On Friday, she appealed to INEC not to postpone the elections following the previous postponement on February 16.
She said: “We are all set to vote tomorrow. Today, I will sleep early. Dear INEC, please don’t disappoint us.”
