Filippo Inzaghi has reportedly been dismissed from his position as manager of AC Milan.
The 41-year-old took charge of the Rossoneri last summer, but he endured a difficult season at the club and was only able to help them finish a disappointing 10th place in the Serie A table.
Inzaghi’s position has been under threat for a number of months, but according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, he has now been released by the club with a year left on his contract.
The report goes on to claim that Sinisa Mihajlovic, who left Sampdoria at the start of the week, will now take over at Milan.
Earlier this week, Carlo Ancelotti turned down the chance to rejoin Milan following his exit from Real Madrid.
