The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, on Saturday described the death of the Chief Imam of Abuja, Sheikh Musa Muhammad, as a huge loss to humanity.
The Sultan, in a message through the Secretary General of Jamaatu Nasril Islam, Dr. Khalid Abubakar, said the late cleric had dedicated his life to the service of Allah and humanity and would be missed by all Muslims in Nigeria.
“He was a teacher, an Imam and a social commentator, who lived a worthy life,” Abubakar said.
The Sultan said death was an inevitable end to all mortals and Muhammad’s death was a reminder to all Nigerians to live worthy lives so that they would be able to account for their deeds while on earth.
He prayed to Allah to grant the deceased Aljannah Firdaus and the fortitude to his family to bear the loss.
