Governor Theodore Orji of Abia State on Wednesday announced the appointment of Charles Ajunwa as his new Chief Press Secretary.
The announcement was contained in a statement issued by Cosmos Ndukwe, the Chief of Staff to the governor, in Umuahia.
The statement noted that Ajunwa, a former Features Editor of ThisDay newspapers, replaced Ugochukwu Emezue.
It added that the appointment took effect from October 22 but did not give reason for Emezue’s removal.
Emezue was appointed the Chief Press Secretary to Orji in November 2011.
